Hello and welcome to 2010, a new decade and a new beginning for professional theatre in Townsville!

With the support of the company’s board, Artistic Directors Madonna Davies and Karen Gibb are giving Tropic Sun a make over to ensure that Townsville professional theatre continues to flourish into the future.

All will be revealed at the new company launch on March 26th, so get your party frocks ready! The full details will be coming to you soon.

Auditions
If you want to grace the stage in Cairns then here’s an opportunity for you!

M&J Dream Productions Pty. Ltd are holding auditions for “The Impossible Dream” the story of a Spanish Pastry Chef who builds a castle in the rainforest to prove his love for his wife. A beautiful and true story based on the castle that still exists today -Paronella Park. And yes it’s the one just outside of Innisfail!

Director Susan Prince will be holding auditions at The Court Theatre in March.
