Jeremy Cheetham

Jeremy studied theatre briefly at JCU before appearing in the Townsville Little Theatre production of Psycho Beach Party as the ‘sexually confused beach bum’, Provoloney in 2005. Jeremy returned in 2006 to make his mark as a young, naïve, would be newspaper editor, William De Worde, in Terry Pratchett’s The Truth before making professional debut with Tropic Sun in 2006 in Romeo & Juliet where he played six characters including Benvolio, Cousin Capulet and the Apothecary as part of an ensemble which was presented both in Queens Gardens in Townsville and on tour at the JUTE Theatre in Cairns.

After appearing as Sir, a teenage boy who explores his sexuality with his sister in David Campton’s Little Brother: Little Sister , Jeremy went on to work under the direction of Todd Barty in two more projects to round of 2006. He played three pivotal roles as Wolfe, Double O Wolfe and Little Bear in the fantasy gone wrong The Adventures Of Goldilockpick And Little Red Riding Hoodlum . Immediately after this, Jeremy plummeted head first into Bertolt Brecht’s Happy End as the wiz-bang Professor.
