Jim Gosden

Born in the UK , Jim has lived in Sierra Leone , Nigeria , Singapore , Canada and New Zealand before settling in Australia in 1982. He originally trained as a blacksmith and worked in the oil industry in Canada , canning plants in New Zealand and gold mines in Queensland .

Retraining as an actor and theatre worker in 1990, he has worked extensively in the Cairns region particularly in corporate events and live theatre. On completion of his degree in 1999, he spent 2 years working in Sydney and returned to Far North Queensland in 2002.
