Karen Joy Gibb

A senior member of the Tropic Sun Theatre Company Ensemble with over 20 years experience in varied forms of theatre practice including the avant-garde, performance art, classic and contemporary theatre. Karen has worked as actor, director and creator with her works recently being invited to both international and local theatre festivals. She has trained in various European models of theatre practise including Voos’s teaching methodology, with its focus being on the economical investigation in theatre creation.

Tutoring not only in the Tropic Sun Ensemble, Karen works through out the region with professional, and community groups teaching the physical language of theatre. This includes mask, movement and red nose clown.
