Lorna Hempstead

BA (Hons) MIAAA

Lorna was the first General Manager of Dance North (1984-1996) and then, for five years the Marketing Manager of Museum of Tropical Queensland .

She has also had an extensive freelance career in cultural tourism consultancy and events management. She served on the Board of Tourism Queensland for seven years and is currently a member of James Cook University ’s governing Council.

Lorna has been associated with Tropic Sun in many ways since the company’s inception and has been General Manager 2007.
