Matthew Ryan

Matthew graduated from the James Cook University Bachelor of Theatre course in 2005. The roles he has played at University includes Puck in Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, Cooley in DON’S PARTY and Tiresias in Seneca’s OEDIPUS.

His professional debut was in 2005 as Billy the Kid in Tropic Sun’s production of Michael McClure’s THE BEARD.

In 2006 he performed in Duncan Sarkies’ LOVEPUKE and later took the role of Romeo in ROMEO & JULIET, both in Queens Gardens in Townsville an on tour at the JUTE Theatre in Cairns.
