Murray Burt

Graduated from the James Cook University Bachelor of Theatre course in 2005.

In the past twelve months he has been cast in CONFUSIONS, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, DON’S PARTY and Seneca’s OEDIPUS. He has also appeared in several short films and made some TV commercials.

His professional debut was with Tropic Sun in 2006 in Duncan Sarkies’ LOVEPUKE. Following this Murray performed the roles of Peter and Prince Escalus in ROMEO & JULIET both in Queens Gardens in Townsville and on tour at the JUTE Theatre in Cairns.

Murray then played the part of Charlie in CHARLIE AND ALGERNON by Daniel Keyes at the Old Magistrates’ Cour in 2007 as well as recording the part of Richo in the new series SEA PATROL for Channel 9.
