Ray Dickson

Ray has been involved in the Townsville theatre scene, as a performer, a director and in administrative roles for nearly 40 years.

He acted in and directed more than 25 plays at the historic Stage Door Theatre, and was a founding cast member of that company’s popular Theatre Restaurant. His extensive list of appearances with all local theatre companies led to his being presented with the Townsville City Council’s Arts and Entertainment “Lifetime Achievement Award” in 2003.

In daylight, he is the Circulation Manager of the Townsville Bulletin.

Following appearances in a number of Tropic Sun Shakespeare productions in previous years he is thrilled to be working once again with Terri Brabon and such a talented cast and crew in the 2008 Tropic Sun production of Shakespeares "Love's Labour's Lost".
